Leicester Tigers will open their Anglo-Welsh Cup campaign in the new season with a game away to Bath Rugby.

Tigers host Newport Gwent Dragons in Round 2, there is a Welford Road clash against East Midlands neighbours Northampton Saints in Round 3 before Tigers complete their pool fixtures away to Saracens.

The cup returns for the 2016/17 season with Tigers drawn in Pool 4 and, following the rules of the competition, will face each of the teams in Pool 1.

The opening game pitches Richard Cockerill’s men against Aviva Premiership opponents Bath on Friday, November 4 (7.45pm) at the Recreation Ground. The game has been selected for live coverage on BT Sport.

Tigers are at home in Round 2 against Guinness PRO12 side Newport Gwent Dragons. The game is a 3pm kick-off on Saturday, November 12.

Tigers are at home to Saints on the weekend of January 28 before travelling to Saracens on the weekend of February 4.

To qualify for the semi-finals, Tigers will have to finish top of Pool 1, above Gloucester Rugby, Newcastle Falcons and Scarlets.
