Marcos Ayerza will open the Rugby Championship and his countdown to the Rugby World Cup this weekend.The Leicester Tigers prop starts in the front row for Argentina – in his 58th cap – against New Zealand in Christchurch on Friday.
Argentina have never won a Championship fixture away from home after three campaigns and are chasing their first victory over the All Blacks in 20 attempts.
After the Rugby Championship, Los Pumas travel to Welford Road for the Marcos Ayerza International Challenge on Saturday, September 5 organised as part of his testimonial year.
