Business Club members tuned into the latest virtual event of the season to hear from sports promoter Barry Hearn.
Hearn followed footballer-turned-pundit Chris ‘Kammy’ Kamara as the next guest in the series and sharing his insight into life as a promoter having forged a career in snooker, darts, football and boxing.
Next up, The club will be hosting its next Business Club event LIVE at Mattioli Woods Welford Road as the club opens its doors to allow members to attend.
David Haye will be the third guest of the season on Wednesday, April 14 as the retired boxer looks back on a glittering career as a former heavyweight champion of the world and life outside of the boxing ring.
Pending the most recent government announcement expected later in February, Tigers will be able to host up to the event in a socially-distanced setting.
Strict social distancing procedures will be in place including temperature checks on arrival, track and trace sign up and social distancing measures. Guests will also have to wear face masks during the event, apart from when dining.
Membership to the Business Club invites guests to attend a number of networking events throughout each season, accompanied by a special guest speaker.
Previous guests include author and politician Lord Jeffrey Archer, TV’s Ant Middleton, Paralympian Sammi Kinghorn, TV presenter Clare Balding and former Leicester Tigers player Leon Lloyd.
