Be part of Lions history next summer

Figure image
Tigers have provided some of the iconic moments in recent British & Irish Lions history - and you could be in Australia for the next instalment with Tigers Events.

Tigers legend Martin Johnson led the Lions to their last series victory in 1997 and followed it up in 2001 by becoming the only man to captain two tours. Tigers supplied eight players in 2005 and on the 2009 tour to South Africa, Tom Croft became the first forward in Lions history to score two tries against the Springboks.

The next chapter in Lions history will be written in 2013 when they tour to Australia. The Lions will play 10 games, including three Test matches in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney.

Tigers Events, in conjunction with Lions Rugby Travel, the Lions’ official travel company, have put together a number of exciting options and will be at Welford Road from noon on Saturday to talk to fans.

Supporters are invited to meet Tigers Events and Lions Rugby Travel on the plaza in front of the Caterpillar Stand to discuss tour options. Or fans can book their tour now by visiting www.lionstour.com/Tigers or by calling 0844 788 4070 and quoting ‘Tigers’.
