ASM Clermont Auvergne have confirmed the signing of Peter Betham from Leicester Tigers.
Australia international Betham, 28, joined Tigers for the start of the 2015/16 season and has made 55 appearances for the club, playing at centre and wing. He scored 11 tries, including one in the Aviva Premiership semi-final against Wasps in his last game for the club earlier this month.
After speaking to French club Clermont, the European Champions Cup and Top14 finalists, they have today announced his signing on a two-year contract.
Tigers head coach Matt O’Connor said: “We thank Peter for his contribution over the last two seasons with the club and we all wish him well in his new challenge with Clermont.”
