Bid in Tigers Foundation online auction now

The Leicester Tigers Foundation is giving supporters the chance to own signed, player-worn shirts from the 2017/18 season and help fund the purchase of 10 junior wheelchair rugby wheelchairs.

The wheelchairs will be used as part of the Foundation's Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) Programme to promote the game at junior level and encourage players of the future.

The shirts available were worn and signed by Tonga international Sione Kalamafoni, New Zealand-born duo Mike Fitzgerald and Brendon O'Connor and forwards Mike Williams and Graham Kitchener.

Fans can bid on each of the shirts on eBay now by clicking on the link below until the auction closes on Saturday, February 16.

The Leicester Tigers Foundation aims to ensure that sporting opportunities continue to be available to those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) within Leicestershire and Rutland.

The Foundation provides all types of rugby delivery supporting adults and children who have special educational needs or a disability.

Tailored to meet the needs of the class, our programmes can:

  • Provide specialist SEND activities for groups to get involved in
  • Provide assemblies for mainstream schools with the aim of challenging perceptions of disabilities in sport
  • Help raise awareness and the profile of disability sport within the community
  • Introduce groups to local opportunities such as Leicester Tigers Wheelchair Rugby Team

More items will be available throughout February and March and fans are encouraged to keep an eye on the club website and social media channels for information on auctions.
