Big day at Welford Road this Saturday

Figure image
Leicester Tigers return to Welford Road on Saturday for a sell-out fixture against Bath Rugby in Round 22 of the Aviva Premiership season. Kick-off is at 2pm.

Finishing positions in the Aviva Premiership, semi-final line-ups and Heineken Cup qualification will all be decided on Saturday when all six fixtures kick-off simultaneously.

With all 24,000 tickets sold in advance we’re anticipating another big day at Welford Road.

If you are still without a ticket, you can phone the Tigers ticket office on 0844 856 1880 to check if any season ticket holders have returned their places on the Buyback scheme.

Turnstiles, bars and food outlets are open from noon on Saturday.

On your way into Welford Road we’ve got some great activities on the plaza outside the Caterpillar Stand, including a Zorb Slide, Land Rover promotion and hog roast.

The Junior Tigers Club VIP area is open in the Final Whistle, including the exclusive Crush milkshake bar, and we’ll have a Tigers player appearance during the afternoon too. If you have a young supporter in your family you’ll want to take a look – they could even win Tea With The Tigers.

Membership of JTC is free and open to all supporters aged under 16. You can join online now. The name of one lucky member will be drawn ahead of the game and will help lead out the teams before kick-off.

The Tigers Club Store is open all day and we have the new home kit and training range on sale. There is an extra store unit outside the Caterpillar Stand on matchdays and areas for home shirt sales this week in the upper concourse of the Caterpillar Stand and the Holland & Barrett Stand when you enter the stadium.

Pick up a copy of the Tigers matchday programme and meet all the winners at the annual awards, share a unique occasion with a true legend and read all the news and views from inside Welford Road. You could even win a great prize with John Lewis. Pick up your copy around the stadium, price £3.

Please note that the Droglites Bar will be open to past players only before the game – for the association’s annual reunion – and the Mark Lounge is in use for Community groups before kick-off. Both areas will be open to general public from half-time and after the game.

The winners in our Megazorb Challenge competition in conjunction with Jigsaw will be testing their skills – and their fitness – on the pitch at half-time, together with the regular Kicking Competition.

Tigers matchday buses, run in conjunction with Arriva, are in operation from Market Harborough, Oakham and Nuneaton. Click here for more details and timetable.

Resident band Rock Bottom provide the live music in the Final Whistle after Saturday's game – and we’ll have live coverage of football’s FA Cup Final on the big screen from 5.15pm too.

We look forward to seeing you!
