Big day to kick off the new season

We've got an action-packed day in store when Leicester Tigers kick off the new season at Welford Road this Saturday.

And we’re starting early with the Tigers In The Park event open from 11am.

Tigers In The Park features activities for all the family based in Nelson Mandela Park and the concourse outside the Caterpillar Stand, and runs up to kick-off at 3pm.

Attractions include live music and dance, tag rugby coaching sessions, rodeo rugby ball, and there’s a circus workshop next to the Final Whistle entrance.

Turnstiles and public bars in the stadium are open from 1pm.

The Mark Lounge in the Holland & Barrett Stand will be open as a public bar this season, taking some of the pressure off the ABC Bar in that area.

The Tiger Bar at the Clubhouse End will be used as the community lounge for groups including matchday clinics and Tigers Rugby Courses.

The new Tigers Club Store will be open throughout Saturday and there will be shop units in the lower concourse of the Caterpillar Stand and outside near the ticket office.

Junior Tigers Club activities will now be based in The Final Whistle rather than in the Goldsmiths Stand. JTC will be in operation from 1pm and new sponsors Crusha will be joining us.

The ticket office is open from 9am, selling season tickets and match tickets for all home games. There is also an extra ticket office using The Maul vehicle inside the stadium if you wish to book tickets for forthcoming fixtures.

Book your place by phoning the ticket hotline 0844 856 1880, call in at Welford Road or book online and collect on matchday.

Tickets collections are located in the unit outside the ticket office in advance of kick-off.

A new-look 100-page match programmes (price £3) will be available around the stadium. Read about the seven new summer signings, the changes at Welford Road during the summer, all the news from your favourite rugby club, a new ‘A’ League structure and the views of director of rugby Richard Cockerill.
