Big-match guide for Tigers v Leeds Carnegie this weekend

'The Flying Tigers' will make a spectacular visit to Leicester as the Naval Air Squadron show support for their rugby namesakes on an action-packed afternoon at Welford Road tomorrow.

A Merlin helicopter from 814 Naval Air Squadron, ‘The Flying Tigers’, will make its presence felt when Tigers host Leeds Carnegie and members of the unit will be attending the game.

Tigers will also be visited by Sturgess Land Rover and the new Park and Ride initiative this weekend, and supporters have the opportunity to win some great prizes.

Entrants into a prize draw with Sturgess Land Rover have the chance to win a signed Tigers shirt – and the opportunity to put its award-winning range of vehicles to the test across the rugged terrain of Morocco.

Representatives of the new Park and Ride system at Enderby will be on site to provide supporters with information about the service which can help you to beat the city traffic and matchday parking problems.

Tigers also launch the club’s Christmas Toy Appeal this weekend and supporters can help local children’s hospitals and hospices by donating any toy or gift, new and top-condition used, which the club can then hand on.

Bring a toy or gift to Tigers Reception in the Caterpillar Stand between now and December 12 to allow us time to sort and distribute the presents in the build-up to Christmas.

The Tigers Club Shop will be open at Welford Road from 9am, call in and pick up a perfect Christmas gift for any fan.

The Final Whistle public bar is open from noon for all supporters, serving food and refreshments.

Tickets for the game against Leeds Carnegie – featuring the return of former Tigers favourites Neil Back, Marco Wentzel and Seru Rabeni – will be available up to kick-off from the Tigers ticket office.

The ticket office is open until 5pm Friday and from 9am on matchday. Phone 0844 856 1880 or call in.
