Big win in final AASE League fixture

Wyggeston & Queen Elizabeth I College scored 11 tries to secure a 67-7 win over Bishop Burton College in the final fixture in the AASE League season.

The match was held at Bishop Burton with seven tries scored in the first half through Ben Jefferson, Sam Wager, Oli Bee, Sam Grahamslaw, Zak Morton, Tommy Reffell and Keston Lines.
 
Second-half tries were scored by Fergus O’Dwyer, Owen Mills, Josh Bennett and Fergus Dobson with Wager adding four conversions.
 
A converted try for the home side got them on the scoreboard but Wyggeston were able to secure the away win.
 
The College team, featuring Leicester Tigers Academy players,  joined the AASE League last season, with the 14 teams separated into north and south pools.
