Bollywood is coming to Leicester

Leicester Tigers are excited to announce that Mattioli Woods Welford Road will host Bollywood Leicester in July.

In promotion with Bollywood Events Group Limited, the home of Leicester Tigers will host the first-ever two-day Bollywood festival (July 1-2) in the United Kingdom, which is expected to welcome more than 30,000 people for what will be the largest Bollywood themed event to have ever been staged in the UK.

Bollywood Leicester will include appearances from iconic music, dance and comedy acts celebrating the global phenomenon.

Confirmed acts include headliners Mika Singh and Vishal and Shekhar, as well as Navin Kundra, Rekha, The Quickstyle and VP Bhangra Dance Band, with more to be confirmed. In addition, comedians Neville Shah and Sumukhi Suresh will also take part in the two-day festival.

As well as international Bollywood artists, the festival will also showcase British and local talent.

The first allocation of tickets for the event will go on sale at 9.00am on Friday, March 10 online at LeicesterTigers.com/bollywoodleicester.
