We had a very festive day at Welford Road on Sunday. It started off with a Christmas market full of stocking fillers and kids even got to have a go on the rodeo reindeer!
The JTC area was full of Christmas arts and crafts from tree decorations to Christmas cards. We were lucky enough to have a visit from Santa who handed out yummy chocolate selection boxes and also and handful of Tigers players came down to enjoy the Christmas spirit! We had two lucky mascots from the JTC area .James Ellis got a full house with the 'Christmas Grotto', our Christmas bingo game and Brendon Harrison was lucky enough to be chosen out of the JTC ballot. We also had five mini Santas parading around the pitch and scoring some great tries just before kick off.
After the match the pantomime 'Puss in Boots' came to Welford Road, it was enjoyed by many and even got everyone up on their feet dancing...Gangnam Style! Oh no it didn't! Oh yes it did!
The next home match is December 29 Tigers v Gloucester. Kickoff is 5pm and the JTC VIP will be open from 3pm.
