It’s Derby Day at Welford Road next Saturday (October 12) as Leicester Tigers host Northampton Saints in the final game in the pool stages of the Premiership Rugby Cup.
The local rivalry dates back to the formation of the clubs in 1880 with games still as eagerly-awaited as they ever have been.
Saturday’s clash will be the 245th meeting of the East Midlands duo in 139 years of one of rugby’s biggest rivalries.
