Freddie Burns is already looking forward to working with the next generation of players on a Tigers Rugby Camp this summer.

Burns says he grew his game attending rugby camps when he was younger and is looking forward to “giving a bit back” when visits Shipston on Stour RFC.

The England and Leicester Tigers fly-half said: “I remember when I used to do rugby camps and gained so much knowledge of what it took to grow my game and the work needed to get to the top of the game.

“I’m really looking forward to giving a bit back and working with the future of the Tigers.”

The Tigers Rugby Camp at Shipston on Stour RFC is for U9s to U14s and runs from July 25 to 29. There is also a tag rugby camp over three half days for U7s and U8s.

Burns will visit on one of the days when he will be able to pass on some of his expert tips and take part in a Q&A.

Burns is the latest member of the Tigers family confirmed to be taking part in a Tigers Rugby Camp this summer.

Academy coach Anthony Allen will visit next week’s Tigers Ashburton Investments Rugby Camp at Jersey RFC while former prop Boris Stankovich will drop in at the Market Harborough RFC camp (August 15-19).
