It is the busiest week of the year so far for the Leicester Tigers Rugby Camps.
Almost 400 young players are improving their game with Tigers coaches on camps at Stamford School, Lichfield RFC and Swaffham RFC. The camp at Lichfield is the biggest of the summer with 172 young players taking part.
The camps are for players up to under-17s and there is a tag rugby camp for younger players. Members of the Tigers first-team squad are due to make guest appearances during the week.
Tigers Rugby Camps continue through the summer across the Tigers region. Diss RFC, Lincoln RFC and Lutterworth RFC host camps next week, and there are tag camps too for younger players.
The following week (August 11-15) Tigers Rugby Camps are at Gresham’s School, Ratcliffe College and Market Harborough RFC before heading to Trent College, Market Rasen & Lough RUFC and North Walsham RFC (August 18-22).
Bishop Burton College near Beverley in East Yorkshire hosts a week-long residential camp (August 18-22). It gives players in the 13-17 age groups the chance to experience life as a professional with a full schedule of training, access to the best training facilities, and practical and theory sessions. Spend the week training with our Tigers coaches, making friends with other aspiring rugby players and having fun in top-class surroundings.
