Cat Stand upper open for Legends match

Tickets sales for the Legends match at Welford Road on April 21 are now open in the central section of the Caterpillar Stand upper tier.

World Cup winners Martin Johnson and Jason Robinson will lead out the teams in a match organised in support of Louis Deacon’s Benefit Year and the Matt Hampson Foundation at the home of Leicester Tigers.

Around 8,000 tickets have already been sold for this special occasion and there are just 300 tickets remaining in the Caterpillar Stand lower section, as well as seats in the Holland & Barrett Stand –Blocks L, M, N, O, P and Q – and the terrace.

Block DU in the upper section of the Caterpillar Stand has now been made available for sale.

Any supporters who have already boight tickets but would like to move into this section can do so if they contact the ticket office at Welford Road.

Iconic captain Martin Johnson will lead Louis Deacon’s Tigers team and will be joined in the squad by the ‘ABC Club’ of Graham Rowntree, Richard Cockerill and Darren Garforth, plus Julian White, Tim Stimpson, Leon Lloyd, Peter Short, Jeremy Staunton, Ollie Smith, Glenn Gelderbloom, Harry Ellis, Freddie Tuilagi, Aadel Kardooni, Lewis Moody and Dean Richards.

World Cup winners Jason Robinson and Josh Lewsey head the names in the Matt Hampson International Legends XV, together with Serge Betsen, Andy Gomarsall, Henry Paul, Craig Chalmers, Thinus Delport, Mark Robinson, Epi Taione, Budge Poutney, Hugh Vyvyan, Lee Fortey, Jerry Flannery, Anthony Foley, Rob Henderson and Darren Morris.

Tickets are just £10 adults, £5 children and OAPs. Family tickets, for two adults and two children, are £20. Book at the Tigers ticket office or click here to book through the club website.
