Fancy a Christmas party with a difference this festive season?

Fans are invited to celebrate the holidays Pacific Islander style in a special event at the home of Leicester Tigers on Tuesday, December 18.

Earlier this year, we shared a video of the team cooking an umu feast for the players at the club's Oval Park Training Ground, cooked by the Samoan and Tongan contingent of the #TigersFamily

We’re bringing the taste of the Pacific Island to Leicester with a special Polynesian inspired buffet for fans to discover the traditional food from the region.

Try kalua pua’a, sample huli huli chicken and enjoy curried yam as well as other traditional dishes.

Tigers’ Pacific Island players will be joining guests to share their experiences of Christmas in the southern hemisphere as well as activities and entertainment for all to get involved with.

The Pacific Islands is made up of more than 1,000 islands scattered across the Pacific Ocean including the nations of Fiji, New Zealand, Samoa and Tonga.

Tigers have strong ties with the Pacific Islands with a host of former players from the region donning the famous red, white and green jersey.

Fan favourites include Fijian Seru Rabeni, Kiwi’s Arron Mauger and Daryl Gibson, Tongan Steve Mafi as well as Freddie, Henry and Alesana Tuilagi.

Tickets are priced at £38 with the event running from 7.00pm to 11.00pm in the club’s Premiership Suite in the Holland & Barrett stand.

Book your place online at the link below or call the Tigers Ticket Office on 0116 319 8888 (option 2).
