The Aviva Premiership makes its debut on Channel 5 this weekend with a new highlights package to round up the weekend.

The opening round of the season kicks-off on Friday with Gloucester Rugby hosting defending champions Exeter Chiefs live on BT Sport.

Worcester Warriors, meanwhile, travel to Newcastle Falcons on Friday evening.

The action continues on Saturday with the London Double Header featuring Saracens against Northampton Saints, and newly promoted London Irish taking on Harlequins at Twickenham. Both games are live on BT Sport. In the third game of the day, Wasps hosts Sale Sharks.

The opening weekend of the Aviva Premiership comes to a close on Sunday when Leicester Tigers welcome Bath Rugby to Welford Road in a 3pm kick-off. Match tickets are still available. It is also live on BT Sport.
