Tigers host their Aviva Premiership Rugby rivals at Welford Road on Monday, December 27 (kick-off 2pm) in a repeat of last year’s festive fixture which attracted a capacity crowd of 24,000.
Tigers managing director David Clayton said: “Christmas fixtures at Welford Road have always been extremely popular and this year is no exception with a lot of interest in the match on December 27.
“With four weeks to go we have only around 2,000 tickets left on sale for that match and I would urge any supporters thinking of having a day out with us over the Christmas holidays to book as quickly as possible to avoid any disappointment.”
The opening home game of the New Year, against current Aviva Premiership leaders Northampton Saints, is already one of the fastest-selling matches of the season.
