Figure image
The Burton Choristers of the Loughborough Endowed Schools led the festivities at the switch-on of the Welford Road Christmas tree lights.

There were Christmas carols, mince pies and mulled wine as the choristers joined Leicester Tigers staff, fans and guests in front of the Caterpillar Stand for the lights turn-on on Monday night.

The tree, which had been lifted into place by a Telehandler from main club sponsor Caterpillar, can be seen on the plaza in front of the Caterpillar Stand.

The Burton Choristers of the Loughborough Endowed Schools will return to Welford Road for the Heineken Cup game against Perpignan on Sunday, December 19 (3pm) when they will lead the singing of Christmas carols at half-time.
