Leicester Tigers' club partner Lumbers Jewellers finished off the year in style as Lumbers in-house goldsmith, Martine Gregory was crowned ‘Workshop of the Year’ by the National association of Jewellers.  

The winners of the 2018 NAJ Awards were announced at the Benevolent Society Ball earlier in December, which is now in seventh year.

Martine has been the mainstay of the Lumbers workshop and with experience in both repairs and bespoke manufacturing and was awarded with a fantastic trophy designed by Lorna McNaught from the Birmingham School of Jewellery.

Lumbers are proud sponsors of Leicester Tigers Player of the Month award, which is voted for by Tigers fans each month with the winner announced at half-time at home matches at Welford Road.  

Being completely self-taught, she has worked upon and made some of the finest jewellery sold in the midlands and, indeed, repaired jewellery with Royal provenance.
