An open Supporters Forum at Welford Road on Wednesday evening allowed Leicester Tigers fans to put their questions to Richard Cockerill and Simon Cohen.More than 100 supporters signed up to attend the open forum and in two hours of questions from the floor Cockerill and Cohen covered a range of subjects, including proposals for the expansion of the Aviva Premiership, pitch damage at Welford Road, the salary cap, injuries and player welfare, Aaron Mauger’s role for next season, player movement and refereeing the scrum.
Cohen also confirmed there is no question of moving any home fixtures in the remainder of this season after questions regarding the start of development work at the clubhouse end.
The regular Tigers Supporters Forum meets throughout the season with senior club staff to discuss the issues that most affect them and the fans they represent, allowing supporters to communicate directly with the club.
