Richard Cockerill described the atmosphere on Tigers' pre-season camp as "fantastic" as he prepares to give most of his squad a run-out against Brive on Friday night (kick off 8pm).

Tigers have been on a training camp in France this week as part of their preparations for the up-coming Aviva Premiership Rugby season.

They conclude their camp on Friday evening with a first fixture of the summer against Brive, who begin their Top 14 season on August 13.

And Tigers director of rugby Cockerill said: “The internationals won’t be involved but the rest of the guys will all get a game. We shall go into it with a squad of 28 or 29 and they will all play some part in the game.”

He added: “The boys have worked really hard and the atmosphere has been fantastic, the best I have ever known it in pre-season.”

You can watch Tigers in pre-season action when Leinster visit Welford Road on Friday, August 27 (7.30pm).
