Dan Cole sits down with LTTV to discuss the bonus point win over Gloucester in Round 12 of the Gallagher Premiership and looks ahead to the return of European action, away to Scarlets in Round 5 of this season's Heineken Champions Cup pool stages.
"It's the Cup you want to be involved in," said Cole.
"You go against sides you don't play on a regular basis and they're the best in their respective countries.
"You want to be competing against those teams and going to those tough places to play."
The 31 year old, who is the second most experienced Tigers player in Europe with 54 appearances in the Champions Cup, also is not of the belief that this year's campaign is over for Leicester.
Cole also believes the fortnight of fixtures presents an opportunity for the squad to build on recent performances and positives after claiming 11
"You're not out of it until you're out of it," he said.
"We want to be playing the best we can and keep the momentum we've built in the last couple of weeks in the Premiership going."
