Leicester Tigers opened the doors to Welford Road as part of a Corporate Open Day on Friday, showcasing the facilities available around the stadium for bookings, conferences and events.

As home to the Tigers, Welford Road welcomes average crowds of more than 20,000 for matchdays, but there is a lot more to the stadium with flexible events space in all four stands for meetings, conferences, exhibitions, parties, weddings and other special occasions.

Guests at the Corporate Open Day heard from the club’s head of brand Chris Rose about development plans for a hotel and multi-storey car park adjacent to the stadium and some changes to rooms internally. They also joined a number of team activities on their tour of facilities against the backdrop of the club’s Corporate Touch Rugby Tournament on the pitch and enjoyed lunch and refreshments provided by new stadium catering partners Levy UK.
