The Prima Tiger Cup is Tigers’ contact-based tournament for under-10s teams which draws entries from across the country.
This season’s tournament was one of the most successful in the Prima Tiger Cup’s 17 year history. It attracted more than 50 teams from across the country with Oakham lifting the trophy for the first time after they beat Coventry-based side Old Coventrians in the final at Welford Road.
Now, as planning begins for next season’s competition, Prima Solutions, one of the UK's leading suppliers of complete IT solutions to the clothing and footwear market, have pledged their continued support of the competition.
Scott Clarke, Tigers community manager, said: “The long-term relationship we have had with Prima Solutions has allowed us to develop the Prima Tiger Cup into one of the best tournaments of its kind in the UK.
“Teams come back year after year and spread the word to their local counterparts and each year the enthusiasm and enjoyment has grown.”
Dates for the festival rounds of next season’s competition are being finalised but under-10s teams are being invited to enter by emailing [email protected]
