Countdown to JTC Takeover Day

The Junior Tigers Club will take on key matchday roles at Welford Road this Saturday for the fourth annual JTC Takeover Day, supported by next.On the pitch Leicester Tigers take on Exeter Chiefs in a crunch clash in the Aviva Premiership while off the pitch JTC members will takeover behind the scenes.   JTC Takeover Day began with Lucas Griffiths-Bridgen designing the match poster to help promote the game, which was put on display around Welford Road.   Patrick Fox will read out the teams as the matchday announcer and Paige Wignall will be the matchday reporter, joining the national and local press, national and local radio and TV crews covering the game from the press box in the Holland & Barrett Stand.   The Tigers first team will be led out on to the pitch by mascots Eleanor Tuckey and Evie Adcock.   Ewan Brown will interview Tigers players pre-match in the 1880 Club in the MET-Rx Stand at 12.30pm while Myles Baggaley will take on the role of player interviewer in the JTC VIP Area at 2.30pm.   Club mascot Welford will be assisted in his matchday role by mini-Welfords Ryan Seal and George Johnston. Thomas Concarr, Erin Sandham-Bailey, Robyn Evans, Patrick Cousins, George Harding, Olaf Taylor, Emily Freeman, Idrees Qureshi, Jed Hamer and Katie Nicole Pitchford will take on the role of Tiger cubs.   The JTC VIP Area in Final Whistle will be open as normal from 1pm on Saturday for the usual games, activities and fun.   And there will be plenty of family-friendly activity on the plaza in front of the MET-Rx Stand, including an Easter Challenge, a bungee run for the chance to win a JTC Takeover T-shirt, a voucher from sponsors next and some other goodies.   The Junior Tigers Club is the place for fans aged under 16 years to celebrate their support of the Tigers.   Join us at each home game in the JTC VIP area in Final Whistle for fun and activities with Welford the mascot and a Tigers player.
