Leicester Tigers flanker Tom Croft has been called in to the England training squad ahead of this weekend's Calcutta Cup clash with Scotland at Twickenham.

Croft, who has been capped 22 times by England, made his second start for Tigers against Saracens on Saturday following his return from a shoulder injury.

He joins Tigers team-mates George Chuter, Dan Cole, Louis Deacon, Toby Flood, George Skivington and Ben Youngs in the England training squad.

England team manager Martin Johnson has also called Joe Marler and Chris Robshaw of Harlequins and Northampton’s Courtney Lawesin to his training squad.

Riki Flutey (deadleg) and Joe Worsley (knee/hand) are being treated by the London Wasps medical team in consultation with their England counterparts.

England, who have won their three fixtures in this season’s RBS 6 Nations, face Scotland at Twickenham on Sunday (3pm).
