Crowd restricted for Connacht away game

Figure image

Leicester Tigers will play Connacht in the Heineken Champions Cup without visiting supporters in the stands due to restrictions on attending Irish stadiums.

The current ruling which restricts attendance in Irish stadiums to 50 per cent of capacity is not expected to be lifted in time for the Tigers fixture which is scheduled for Saturday, January 15 in the third round of the pool stages of the Champions Cup.

All general sale match tickets for this game have, therefore, been cancelled and a full refund will be issued to the card used for any purchase within the next 10 working days.

Supporters who bought match tickets for the Heineken Champions Cup fixture should now have received an email from the host club with full details. Please check your email (and any junk mail folders) for the email which outlines changes as a result of rules on Covid.
