Leicester Tigers welcome visitors Sale Sharks to Welford Road on Friday evening (7.40pm kick-off), at the same time as Bath Rugby host Cardiff Blues in the other fixture in Pool B.
Any one of the four teams could top the group and reach the semi-finals, with Tigers currently on six points, the Blues on five, Sale and Bath on four. Victory for Tigers, though, would guarantee a place in the last four for the defending champions.
Tigers won the Anglo-Welsh competition for the first time last season with a thrilling final performance against The Ospreys and Marcelo Loffreda’s men will not want to loosen their grip on the silverware.
This season’s competition began with a bonus point taken from a narrow defeat at Bath, before Tigers scored a five-try home win over Cardiff to climb to the top of the table, but Sale Sharks – with international stars Sebastien Chabal, Mark Cueto, Jason White, Charlie Hodgson and new signing Luke McAlister involved - are coming into form with two bonus-point wins in their last two Guinness Premiership matches and an exciting encounter is in prospect.
