Tigers’ second-XV recorded impressive away wins over Sale Jets and Leeds Carnegie in their last two league outings and will now be hoping to show similar character in their third home fixture of the season.
New Zealander Ben Herring captains the side from the openside flank, with Boris Stankovich, Mefin Davies, Dave Young, Ian Humphreys, Christophe Laussucq and Ayoola Erinle all named in the starting XV.
Fellow first-teamers Gavin Hickie and Ollie Dodge are included among the replacements, with the rest of the 22 made up of some of the club’s most-promising academy players, plus Australian prop Salesi Ma’afu. The ACT Brumbies front row forward, who played for the Barbarians at Twickenham 10 days ago, is with the club for three weeks as he looks to get game time under his belt before returning home.
Season ticket holders should have received tickets for this evening’s match in the post but, if you haven’t, don’t panic, all you need to do is show your season ticket voucher at the turnstiles for free admission.
Tickets are just £5 for non-members and £1 for juniors.
Additional tickets for season ticket holders, members and their guests are available from the ticket office free of charge. All you need to do is fill out the form on the reverse of the ticket to claim your free entry.
