Work on the redevelopment of the Clubhouse End at Welford Road started immediately after Leicester Tigers' last home game of the season on Saturday.Leicester Tigers are working with architects AFL and contractors Buckingham on the construction of the new stand throughout this summer.   This redevelopment will provide 3,000 seats including a premium season ticket lounge known as The Clubhouse, plus club offices and public concourse, taking stadium capacity to 26,000.    The previous temporary stand was used for the final time at Saturday’s Aviva Premiership Round 22 fixture against Northampton Saints – the final home game of the season – and was removed at the start of this week.   The club office buildings have been moved to the opposite end of the stadium, the Tigers Club Store is now in operation in its new location on the corner of the MET-Rx Stand, with the ticket office using main reception during the next few months.   Work in preparation for the demolition of the current buildings is also underway.   Season tickets in all areas of the stadium, including the new stand, are available for 2015/16 now. There are bronze, silver and gold seats in the new stand, plus a limited number of Tiger Seats available at the same rate as terrace season tickets. Click here for more season ticket information or contract the Tigers ticket office in person or phone 0116 319 8888 (option 2).   Click here to see the new section on the club website with webcams and photo galleries during the work.   Or click here to view the virtual tours of the stadium and clubhouse.
