Development XV at Newcastle

Scrum-half James Grindal returns to former club Newcastle Falcons this evening for the second fixture in this season's Premier Rugby A League.

Grindal is included in the same Leicester Tigers backline that started last Monday’s 34-20 win over Northampton Wanderers, with Argentina international Lucas Amorosino at full-back.

Among the forwards, there are call-ups for hooker Jimmy Stevens, prop Ryan Bower, lock Rob Conquest and flanker Tom Armes, who all started the Northampton game among the replacements. Calum Green again leads the side out.

The next home fixture in the A League is against Leeds Carnegie on Monday, October 5.
