Leicester Tigers held their 'Hackathon' at De Montford University at the end of January 2024.

The fourth edition of this annual event saw DMU students challenged to complete the task of ‘How can Leicester Tigers market the Women’s team to grow the sport?'.

Eight students studying for their Masters in Sport Management took part in the challenge set by Tigers, the students then presenting their findings two weeks later. Contestants were judged on creativity, depth of research and consideration of resources.

All students were given tickets to an upcoming match for participating and the winning trio received the Mattioli Woods Best Seats in the House for the next senior men's home game, at home to Gloucester-Hartpury.
