Leicester Tigers would like to invite clubs and schools to nominate any boys in the Under-13/Year 8 age group to be selected for our Regional Developing Player Programme (DPP).The DPP is managed in partnership with the RFU and the Staffordshire, Notts Lincs & Derby, Eastern Counties (Norfolk) and Leicestershire constituent bodies, and provides high quality player development opportunities for players aged 12-16. The primary aim is to enhance the development of promising players across the region while also clearly identifying players that are suitable for the Leicester Tigers Academy.   Club and school coaches are asked to carefully select up to five players for nomination. Players should show above average standards in the core skills of catch and  pass, tackle and contact and/or have excellent game understanding and tactical awareness. We also encourage nomination of any players with outstanding physical qualities or potential (speed, size, height, strength). Please complete the online nomination form by December 31, 2015 with your recommendations.
