Andre Dunn’s individual effort against Gloucester in this season’s U18 Academy League Grand Final win has been voted the Tigers Academy TRY of the Season by fans.
With more than 45% of the vote, Dunn’s dancing feet beat out four other nominees in an online poll at LeicesterTigers.com
The try, which you can see below on LTTV, came in the Tigers Academy’s 43-21 win over Gloucester on Grand Final Day at Allianz Park in March to finish the U18 League season as the only undefeated side in the country.
Dunn was born in Auckland, New Zealand and attends Langley School in Norfolk where he is the current co-captain of the 1st XV with fellow Tigers Academy team mate Thom Smith.
The New Zealander made his Premiership A League debut against Wasps for Tigers less than a fortnight after starring the U18 League Grand Final victory and, in the same month, also led Langley to victory at Twickenham in the U18 Schools’ Vase.
