DX extend sponsorship with Leicester Tigers

Leading independent mail, parcels and logistics end-to-end network operator in the UK and Ireland, DX, has extended its sponsorship with Leicester Tigers.

Long-time supporters of the Tigers, DX will have its branding on the full length of the Welford Road pitch perimeter and dugouts, as well as adding sponsorship to the team’s kicking tees and warm-up bibs.

DX has also confirmed player sponsorship of Tigers players Fraser Balmain and Adam Thompstone for the new season, and will continue its backing of the supporters’ annual awards night when the entire senior squad joins around 500 fans to recognise the players of the season. The date of the 2014/15 DX Awards Night has already been confirmed for Tuesday, April 28.

In announcing the sponsorship, Petar Cvetkovic, chief executive of DX, said: “Leicester Tigers is obviously a name known throughout Europe and beyond, with a consistent record of achievement, demonstrating the type of winning mentality that all leading businesses aspire to.
 
“Our customer promise ‘Delivered Exactly’ is perfectly exampled in so many aspects of the game and especially from a team such as Tigers. There are key moments – the precision in kicking and passing, in the lineout and in securing ball retention at the point of contact – these are the attributes of delivery we offer our customers.  
 
“We have always enjoyed strong links with the club and we are now thrilled to take that sponsorship to another level with a more visible presence in the stadium.

“DX backed the Awards Night for the first time last season and we look forward to being able to share the biggest night of the year with the supporters and the players again.”

Leicester Tigers chief executive Simon Cohen said: “DX has had a very strong relationship with the club for a number of years and we’re delighted that it has extended its sponsorship.”
