Leicester Tigers will head to the Scottish Borders for a pre-season fixture against Edinburgh Rugby in August.
Melrose RFC will host the match at the Greenyards on Saturday, August 23 (kick-off 2pm).
This will be the first meeting between the clubs since the 2007/08 Heineken Cup.
Edinburgh Rugby managing director David Davies said: "The purpose of taking this friendly out of the city is to support one of our local rugby communities and help to promote Edinburgh Rugby in the Borders. I'd like to thank all the Border clubs involved in the tender process for this match for their hospitality and enthusiasm.”
Tickets are £10 adults and £5 senior citizens, students and under-18s. These can be purchased online at www.edinburghrugby.org, by phoning the Edinburgh ticket office on 0131 346 5180 or in person at the BT Murrayfield ticket centre and at Melrose RFC, in advance and on the night.
Tigers host a pre-season double header at Welford Road on Friday, August 29 with matches against Doncaster Knights (5pm) and Cardiff Blues (7.30pm). Admission is included in Tigers season tickets. Further ticket details will be confirmed this week.
