Dan Cole described making his England debut in this season's RBS 6 Nations opener with Wales at Twickenham on Saturday as "awesome".
The Leicester Tigers tighthead came on as a second-half replacement and played his part in England’s 30-17 victory.
“When you start playing rugby that's what you want to do and,” Cole told the Leicester Mercury. “With it being England versus Wales, Twickenham and a first cap, it was awesome.
“I was nervous up to the point of going on the field but then you are into a scrum and into rugby mode, you are not thinking what you are doing, which is easier.”
