England name team for Six Nations finale

Eddie Jones includes three Leicester Tigers players in his matchday squad for England’s final game of the Guinness Six Nations against Ireland on Saturday.

Ben Youngs and George Ford continue at half-back, with Tigers team-mate Ellis Genge along the replacements. Uncapped club colleague George Martin has been with the squad as well this week but is not in the matchday 23.

Jones has selected a largely unchanged 23 from the side that beat France 23-20 at Twickenham last weekend, with Elliot Daly coming in at outside centre as Henry Slade is out due to a calf injury.

“This is our most important game of the tournament and we want to finish well,” said Jones.

“We’re anticipating a hard, tough game against Ireland and we’ve picked this team to cope with that.”

Ireland v England is live on ITV 1 and BBC Radio 5 Live. Kick-off is at 4.45pm on Saturday.
