Tigers quartet included in England training squad

Leicester Tigers quartet George Ford, Ellis Genge, Joe Heyes and Ben Youngs have been included in a 26-man England squad named to join a training camp this week.

The uncapped Heyes, a fellow Tigers academy graduate alongside Ford and Youngs, is included for a second national training camp after taking part in the first since the completion of the 2019/20 Premiership Rugby regular season last week.

Speaking about the training squad named, Jones said: “We had a good three day camp last week working on the basics and developing our cohesion as a group.

“This week the focus is to raise the standard as we continue our preparation for the Italy game.”
