Former Tigers back-row forward Eric Miller has joined the frame for the 1996 Pilkington Cup Final re-match to be staged as part of the testimonial season for Leicester's Leon Lloyd and Bath's Matt Perry this weekend.

"Eric wasn't at the club at the time, he joined us the following year, but when he found out about the game he wanted to get involved," said Lloyd who is celebrating a decade of service at Welford Road. "Now we've got him and Niall Malone flying in from Ireland to join us for the game."

Miller is now playing gaelic football after a rugby career which earned him 48 caps for Ireland and trips to two World Cup tournaments as well as a British Lions tour.

The Tigers line-up for the 'Grudge Match' will include the ABC Club of Graham Rowntree, Richard Cockerill and Darren Garforth, plus Martin Johnson, John Wells, Neil Back, Dean Richards and Rory Underwood. The Bath side includes former England internationals Jon Callard, Phil de Glanville, Jon Sleightholme, Graham Dawe, Ollie Redman and Steve Ojomoh.

The match between the 1996 Cup Final squads is being staged at Welford Road on Sunday, March 18, kick-off 3pm.

Tickets are available now from the Tigers ticket office. Call 08701 28 34 30 or go online at www.leicestertigers.com

The game is supporting the benefit years of Lloyd and Bath full-back Perry and their chosen causes - the Matt Hampson Trust, Sparks, the Professional Rugby Players' Association, Bath Community Foundation, CLIC Sargent and the Anthony Nolan Trust.
