Georgian official Nika Amashanika will take charge of Leicester Tigers’ opening game in the European Challenge Cup, against Pau at Welford Road next month.
Tournament organisers EPCR have announced the names of the match officials for the opening two rounds of the European club season, appointing Amashanika for the Round 1 game on Saturday, November 16.
Pierre Brousset of France is the referee for the Round 2 fixture away to Cardiff Blues.
