Will Evans says the Tigers Development XV were disappointed in defeat at Northampton but says there was plenty on which to build for the young team.
Tigers led 10-3 at half-time of the ‘A’ League game at Franklin’s Gardens but the hosts turned it around with a strong second-half showing to win 38-10.
Evans said: “The first forty minutes was extremely pleasing and I thought we played some really nice rugby at times.
“Obviously, the second half was disappointing. We struggled to find ball and territory. We’re all disappointed with the result but will take some positives from that first half.”
