Extra matchday bus routes from Melton Mowbray, Lichfield and Stamford will be in operation for the Leicester Tigers derby against Northampton Saints at Mattioli Woods Welford Road in the new year.

There are already Tigers matchday bus services run by G&G Travel for all home games on routes from Market Harborough, Oakham, Market Bosworth and Loughborough/Rothley, with these three new services added for the derby date on Friday, February 11. Kick-off is at 7.45pm.

Places are available to book at the Tigers ticket office from 9.00am this Friday. Book online, in person or by phoning the ticket office on 0116 319 8888 (option 2).

Returns fares are £6 on a match-by-match basis, and season ticket holders receive a discounted rate of £4 when you sign in to your Tigers account online.

The new Melton Mowbray route will have stops at Asfordby, Brooksby, Thrussington and Syston on the way to the stadium.

The Lichfield route takes in Tamworth, Atherstone and Nuneaton, while the Stamford bus will call at Empingham, Oakham, Braunston, Tilton on the Hill and Houghton on the Hill.

Full details of pick-up/drop-off points and timetable will be available from 9.00am on Friday on the ticketing pages of the Tigers website.

You can also book bus places now for the home games against Connacht on Sunday, December 19 (1.00pm kick-off) and the New Year fixture with Newcastle Falcons on Sunday, January 2 (3.00pm). Avoid the queues for parking by booking your bus ticket now!

Please note that all places must be booked in advance, there is no booking available on matchday.

The Tigers ticket office is also taking bookings for supporter travel to away games, including the Boxing Day trip to Bristol.

Match tickets for home games are available to book now at the Tigers. For away matches, supporters are advised to book via the host club website.
