Eye on the Tiger this weekend

Leicester Tigers have more than a dozen players on international duty this weekend. Here is our guide to monitoring their progress:

FRIDAY
Samoa v Junior All Blacks
– Alesana Tuilagi is named in Samoa’s squad for the Pacific Nations Cup which opens with this fixture in Apia.

SATURDAY
New Zealand v France –
Julien Dupuy earns his first cap for France after an outstanding season with Tigers. See it live on Sky Sports 1 at 8.30am.

Lions v Western Province – Harry Ellis starts, Tom Croft is among the replacements. Kick-off in Cape Town is at 2pm UK time. The Lions tour is covered live by Sky Sports. Catch the fifth warm-up match before next Saturday’s first Test on Sky Sports 2 and 2HD. The game will be shown live in the ABC Bar at Welford Road.

Argentina v England – Dan Hipkiss, Louis Deacon and Julian White start, with George Chuter, Ben Kay and Sam Vesty among the England replacements. Club colleague Marcos Ayerza is in the Argentina front row. Kick-off in Salta is at 4pm local time, that’s 8pm in the UK. This match is not being televised live in England. The responsibility for negotiating TV rights rests with the host union. In this case the Argentinian Union and their broadcast rights agent IMG have appointed ESPN to produce and broadcast the match in Argentina but not in the UK due to the busy rugby schedule. You will be able to watch an hour of extended highlights on Channel Five at 5am on Monday, repeated at 1am on Wednesday. Look for match details and reaction on the Tigers website this weekend.

England U20 v Samoa U20, World ChampionshipsBen Youngs starts and Greig Tonks is on the bench in Tokyo as England chase a third successive win and a place in the semi-finals. The Tigers website will feature match details. Kick-off is at 1pm local time, that's 5am UK time. There is live coverage on Eurosport 2 and online at www.irb.com.
 
SUNDAY
USA v England Saxons –
Tigers have four players in the Saxons squad for the Churchill Cup, Ben Woods and Tom Varndell start against the hosts, with Dan Cole and Matt Smith among the replacements. Coverage is on Sky Sports 2 and HD2 from 7.30pm (kick-off at 8pm), and online at www.ustream.tv/channel/live-rugby. There is also a live radio link via the RFU website, www.rfu.com 

Georgia v Ireland A – Tigers' top try-scorer in 2008/09, Johne Murphy starts a second successive game for the Irish in front of national coach Declan Kidney. Coverage is from 10pm on Sky Sports 2/HD2, kick-off is at 10.30pm.
