Welford Road opened its doors for a pun-tastic evening of comedy as part of this season's Try Tuesdays supporter events.

Around 100 Leicester Tigers fans joined top comedians for a night of fun and laughter in the Try Line Club in the Goldsmiths Stand on Tuesday.

Rob Rouse was the hilarious headliner with a set focussing on family life. Support came from Ahir Shah, who this week won the Best Show at the annual Dave’s Leicester Comedy Festival awards, and Chris Stokes while Lloyd Griffith compered.

The Try Comedy night was supported by Everards Brewery and Dave’s Leicester Comedy Festival. It was part of the season’s Try Tuesdays supporter events, which conclude next month with Tigers Afternoon Tea with John Lewis and the annual Awards Night.

The Tigers Afternoon Tea with John Lewis event on Tuesday, April 1 is now sold out but tickets remain on sale for the end of season awards dinner on Tuesday, April 29.

More than 500 supporters joined the playing squad and coaches in the Premiership Suite last season for the awards dinner, with Julian Salvi crowned fans' Player of the Year.

Tickets for this year's event are £45 season ticket holders and members, and £55 for non-season ticket holders. They are on sale now from the Welford Road ticket office, on 0844 856 1880 and online by  clicking here
