Welford Road is hosting plenty of Christmas fun for supporters around the European Champions Cup fixture between Leicester Tigers and Munster Rugby this Saturday.
In the final home fixture before Christmas, two giants of European rugby meet in a vital game in Round 4 of the pool stages, just a week after meeting in Limerick.
European afternoons after always big occasions at Welford Road and we’ve got some special Christmas events lined up too.
The plaza outside the Holland & Barrett will host an inflatable snow globe where supporters can take photos and have them printed as souvenirs, and we’ll have Christmas photo props too in The Maul.
There is also a rodeo reindeer, Christmas karaoke for fans to sing their favourite festive tunes and Kibworth Ladies Choir will perform Christmas music.
Nottingham Building Society are hosting a treasure hunt for young fans, while STIHL’s Lumber Jack mascot will joining supporters for the day with giveaways too.
The Junior Tigers Club hosts Santa in his grotto from noon until kick-off and young supporters will be able to decorate cookies and take part in Christmas crafts.
Christmas food and drink, including mince pies and mulled wine, will be available around the ground and on the plaza.
Half-time entertainment includes a special Christmas edition of The Ultimate Big Boot with four contestants selected in a Tigers Facebook competition having the chance to win a Tigers Christmas pack, and Kibworth Ladies Choir will lead the carol singing ahead of the start of the second half.
There will also be a chance to grab a special gift on the day – keep your eye out for the T-shirt cannons around the pitchside!
