Final Remembrance game shirts up for auction

For the past few weeks, Leicester Tigers fans have been helping to raise money for the Leicester Tigers Foundation auctioning off match-worn shirts from Tigers’ Armistice Day fixture.

Supporters have raised more than £2,500 through bidding on match-worn Tigers jerseys worn by the team that faced Sale Sharks in the Premiership Rugby Cup on November 9, 2018.

In our final bid, we have seven replacement shirts worn by the team available to bid including forwards Jake Kerr, Facundo Gigena, Joe Heyes, Mike Fitzgerald and Tommy Reffell as well as backs Sam Harrison and Joe Ford.

Simply hit the links below to bid on the player’s shirt you would like. The auction will last for three days ending at 12.00pm on Friday, December 14.

The one-off Tigers shirts were played in during the Armistice day game on November 9, 2018 as part of the centenary remembrance of the end of World War One, and includes a printed centenary 'Thank you' poppy logo.

All proceeds from the auction will go towards supporting the proposed monument project as part of the work of the Tigers Foundation recognising each of the fallen Tigers during both World War conflicts.

The club also be making a donation to the Royal British Legion as each shirt sold represents the great work the organisation does for those who have served with their country.
