Final shirt auction in aid of Poppy Appeal

Figure image
You can now bid for the fourth and final batch of Leicester Tigers shirts in aid of the Royal British Legion's Poppy Appeal.

Tigers wore an exclusive one-off shirt for the match against the Maori All Blacks featuring the club's traditional letters rather than numbers and also including a poppy emblem in support of the annual Poppy Appeal.

Each player has signed the front and back of his shirt and these are being sold to the highest bidders to benefit the appeal.

The final set of shirts – those lettered D-F-G-K-L-Q-V-W – include the jerseys worn by try-scorer Adam Thompstone and Dan Bowden as well as those worn by England internationals Louis Deacon, Jordan Crane and Anthony Allen.

D worn by Louis Deacon
F worn by Ed Slater
G worn by Jordan Crane
K worn by Adam Thompstone
L worn by Anthony Allen
Q worn by Jonny Harris
V worn by Dan Bowden
W worn by Andy Forsyth

The online auction lasts for three days from Monday afternoon. Proceeds from the auction will go to the Royal British Legion's Poppy Appeal.

Thank you to everyone who has bid so far and shown their support for the cause. The auction is located at Tigers' official ebay site. Click here to place your bid
